Lumen Leaf
Overview
Lumenleaf is a botanical innovation company pushing the boundaries of sustainability and design. Their products blend nature and technology to illuminate indoor and outdoor spaces with soft, ambient light. The brand identity reflects this fusion. A stylised leaf that draws inspiration from the Northern lights, and the rays of light glowing. The colour palette of gradient blues, greens and yellows also reflects this.
Approach
I approached this design by focusing on the emotional impact that the product brings. I began with research into the visual language of scientific innovation and organic forms, sketching several ideas focused on the “glow” concept before arriving at a vertical leaf structure that feel both engineered and alive.
Typography is clean and minimal, allowing the logomark to shine. I’ve changed the letter A into a leaf shape that ties in with the logomark, but also keeps in continuity within the typeface.
